Duties of prevention advisors and safety officers
Prevention advisors
- Tasks in preparation phase:
- Perform risk inventorisation and evaluation (RI&E).
- Elaborate HSE plan.
- Various administrative and preparatory tasks.
- Consulting
- During the course of the project:
- Safety rounds, observation, evaluation.
- Reporting and advising.
- Site coordination, monitoring and supervision.
- Supporting the general prevention service and project manager.
- Raise safety violations and take action.
Safety officers
- Follow up risk inventory and evaluation (RI&E).
- Safety rounds, observation, evaluation and reporting.
- Point of contact for all questions, incidents, inspections and investigations.
- Following up an HSE plan and participating in a start-up work meeting.
